The Capital Pizza Tavern gave Edenton a taste of what is to come Friday evening, serving pizza and wings to town residents and visitors at Friday Foods & Finds on South Broad Street.
Members of the tavern’s team were on hand to answer questions about the menu and the restaurant’s upcoming opening. The business is preparing for a soft opening around Oct. 3.
The Sept. 18 event brought food trucks, music and downtown shopping together to enjoy the gateway evening for a busy weekend. Residents caught up with friends while critiquing pizza and wings, while visitors had a chance to explore the shops and businesses nearby.
