Saturday’s storm blew through Edenton earlier on Saturday morning, clearing sidewalks of window shoppers and proved to be a lengthy washing. The Edenton Farmers Market opened to a supportive umbrella toting crowd.
After last week’s Taste of the Inner Banks and this week’s Shrimp by the Bay, the courthouse green will be closed for a time to those seeking a gathering. Courthouse green culinary events have slowed down.
